Refering to Ewen Murray's "angry incredible hulk" comments about Colin Montgomerie: the behaviour of Montgomerie may come as a disappointment to many, but not as a surprise.
In some respects it looks as if he still has some growing to do, but it is probably too late now. I think he has a problem relating his self-importance to the conduct of those he perceives to be his inferiors.
One is reminded also of the description of a golfer by PG Wodehouse: " The least thing upset him on the links. He missed short putts because of the uproar of the butterflies in the adjoining meadows."

Ewen Murray has a cheek berating Monty for bad behaviour.
I played with him in a Pro Am at Duddingston and a sponsor accidentally played Murray's ball. Despite the fact he incurred no penalty, we really had the toys out the pram. He did not apologise to his amateur partners, indeed he never opened his mouth again during the rest of the round.
Stones, glasshouses come to mind.
