THIS picture looks suspiciously like an episode of Blue Peter from the halcyon days when Goldie still roamed the corridors of the BBC.
It is, in fact, a tree-planting session at Kingsmead in Loudwater. Quite what their motivation for this act was is a mystery. Do you know?
The hooded parka jacket is once again very much in evidence, as it offered excellent resistance to the chilly winds of the early 1980s.
The boy in the centre of the picture is obviously hiding his large hairstyle behind the willowy branches of this sapling, and his friend next to him does not want to captured on camera either. Do you know these people?
The boy on the left may be a keen horticulturist, as evidenced by his wellingtons and the seasoned manner in which he holds his spade.
