Purley Walcountians 4 Wimbledon 1
Purley Walcountians opened up a six point gap with the third-placed team in South Premier Division One following a confortable win against Wimbledon.
Purley now lie just one point behind leaders City of Portsmouth and Saturday's game at the Old Walcountians Sports Club in Woodmanstone confirmed their growing strength.
Left winger Nick Hayes scored two with Mark Justice and Lachlan Fincher adding the others.
Purley's next fixture is at home to Richmond on January 5.
