AN EXHIBITION of the art of embroidery sampling opens at Bromley Museum, Church Hill, Orpington, from April 4.
The display, called a Stitch in Time, is the product of work by children at Midfield Primary School, Grovelands Park, Orpington.
The youngsters had attended an after-school sewing club and based designs samplers in the museum's archives, the oldest dating back to 1773.
The exhibition is on from weekdays 1pm to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm until April 30. Call Melanie Parker on 01689 873826.
