These photographs were taken on Saturday, August 25, at the unveiling of the memorial to the Scottish First World War troops in Flanders.

The gentlemen in kilts are all member of Mauchline Burns Club and reader Ian Lyell is holding the wreath,and also delivered. Mr Lyell and his team also provided haggis for seveal hundred people.

We had a tattoo that evening, a very moving dawn walk and a visit to Tyne Cot cemetery.
