HOUSEHOLDERS and business people in Watford could face further flooding, the Environment Agency warned today (Tuesday).
The agency issued a flood warning around the River Colne in Watford and urged people to be vigilant as water levels continued to rise after the weekend's rainfall.
Residents in Lower High Street, Watford and parts of Bushey were already preparing for the worst as the all-too-familiar signs began to emerge around Water Lane.
A spokesman from the Environment Agency, said: "Flood warning means flooding is now possible."
With further rainfall forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, the situation could get worse.
