Two failed bookie heists are being linked by South Norwood police.
In 15 frantic minutes on Monday morning two shops were hit by raiders.
First, a Tony Hayward bookmakers in Windmill Road, Thornton Heath, was the target of an attack at 10.30am. Then at 10.45am a raider burst in to Coral's in Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath.
In both incidents, the robbers fled empty-handed.
