The Sutton and District Athletic Club's young stars are on a high after being described as future Olympians.
At July's English Schools Athletics Associations Track and Field Championships, former 5000m world record holder David Moorcroft told the club's squad of 16 athletes that they all had the potential to represent Great Britain and should be aiming for the Sydney Olympics and beyond.
Squad: Miranda Woodruffe, Jackie Le Geut, Susan Bovill, Sarah Sasse, Michelle Kemp, Claire O'Sullivan, Sarah Porter, Yewande Ige, Natalie Gaynor, Sarah Wellstead, Tim Sinclair, Dominic Saban, Richard Ward, Simon Hunt, Gareth Price, Andrew Franklin.
