Sutton's Eve Surrey Championships hopes were dented by Reigate Priory on Saturday. Despite Wendal Coppin's impressive bowling figures of 3 for 26 off 11 overs, the visitors earned themselves a winning draw with 128-6 in reply to Sutton's 172.

JUDO BROTHERS.

Brothers Adam and Ryan Bick from Sutton's Stowford College picked up a medal apiece at the British Schools Judo Championships.

Adam, 12, won gold for the Brighton Road school while his 15-year-old brother Ryan took home a bronze medal from the championships in Staffordshire.

TOP SWORDSMAN.

Veteran fencer Joe Shackell helped Great Britain to beat the Germans last weekend.

Representing Great Britain in an invitation cup at Richmond, the flashing blade from Ewell Village was among the point scorers as Germany fell to a 45-35 defeat.
