MOTORSPORT: Group A Hotrod driver Terry Bearman finished fourth in Northampton on Sunday. The Sidcup racer had won his heat with some superb driving. Sister Nicola also drove well, narrowly missing out on a race win herself.

FOOTBALL: Russell Park Rangers U11s put on a great show this season to finish fourth in their division of the Bexley League. The lads won 13 games out of 20, nine of them in consecutive weeks.

MOTORSPORT: Gravesend driver Dave Cox is preparing for this weekend's Nurburgring 24 Hour Race in his BMW M3. He teams up with Willie Moore and Peter McLaren in the International Groupe N. Cox currently leads the championship for the Moore International Motorsport team and is looking for further success.

SWIMMING: Jade Eagland from Dartford's White Darts Swimming Club won the best 10-year-old girl award at the Orpington Open Age Group Competition on Sunday.

MOTORSPORT: Nissan Micra Challenge driver Martin Sansom finished in second place in the One Make Rallysprint at Silverstone. Sansom, from Sidcup, lies in fourth place in the rally championship with the next round in Wales. Turn to Sport Extra for the full run-down.
