Colliers Wood Bowling Club strengthened its lead in the Wimbledon District Bowling League with a win at the weekend. On Saturday, four players from the team, based at Haydon's Road Recreation Ground, Colliers Wood, beat Surbiton away 60-46. Colliers Wood lost their away match against Hook and Southborough 38-83 but still kept their league lead. The Wimbledon District Bowling League contains 35 teams from Merton, Kingston, Wandsworth and Croydon.
