HORTICULTURAL Society members have their AGM at 8pm next Wednesday at the village hall. There will also be a talk about dahlias by Donald Hill. Members and visitors are welcome. The meeting will be sponsored by The Black Horse.
LACEY Green Singers will be presenting The Messiah, by Handel at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 23 at St John's Church. Local residents taking part include Kathryn Oxley soprano, Philip Hayes tenor, Charles Leigh Dugmore and James Moorcroft basses, and Andrew Horton organ.
DON'T forget the Auction of Promises on Saturday at 8pm for 8.30pm at the Millennium Hall. All the proceeds go towards the village hall fund.
THERE will be a jumble sale and cake sale on Saturday at 2pm at St John's School Hall, run by St John's Church.
