Young people in Borehamwood are invited to the last of Hertsmere Borough Council's Pizza Meets next week, when they will have the chance to speak their minds on what activities they most enjoy and what is missing from the town.
At the Pizza Meet, between 6pm and 8pm on Wednesday at The Lair Youth Club in Gateshead Road, youngsters can record their comments onto video tape in a video booth. There will be free pizza and alcohol-free cocktails for those who make comments.
The meeting will be the fifth in a borough-wide exercise, by the council in partnership with Hertfordshire police and Hertfordshire County Council, to gather information to help draw up of cultural and crime and disorder strategies.
The borough council's cultural services officer for youth and arts, Jennifer Wills, said: "The Pizza Meets have been a great success, and an excellent and enjoyable way of finding out which issues really matter to young people in the borough.
"The views expressed enable us to target resources and plan activities more effectively."
