Are you the UK's oldest active amateur actor, actress or performer?
Counsel and Care for the Elderly is anxious to hear from older people who are enthusiastic performers.
The national charity is launching a campaign to encourage older people to continue treading the boards.
We want to hear from people who are still enjoying performing late in life and will help support the campaign. The top three entries will receive Oldest Active Performer Awards.
Please write to me as below about your performing, describing the pleasure it gives and the difference it makes to your life, and of course, giving your age.
It would also help if you could enclose a copy of the programme of a performance in which you recently appeared, or a newspaper clipping reviewing it. We are looking forward to hearing from all those older people who are "hoofing it for health".
