A CENTRE for children whose parents are separated was awarded £1,200 from Help a London Child and £550 from Mazda Motors, in Dartford.
Neutral Ground, based at William Temple Church, Eynsham Drive, Abbey Wood, has been awarded the money to buy new equipment for its young members.
Co-ordinator Pam Rackstraw said: "This is excellent. It will make a lot of difference."
"We will now be able to buy new toys and equipment for the children."
Neutral Ground has been helping children for nine years.
It is open on Saturdays from 11am to 4pm to all children whose parents have split up. Admission is free.
