Middlesex University faces the prospect of handing out 30,000 late examination results to disgruntled students after industrial action by lecturers was suspended last week.
"As announced last week, the industrial action resulting from the two unions' pay disputes has been suspended while negotiations of the unions continue," said a spokeswoman for the university.
"In the meantime the university assessors are working with external examiners to complete the task of handing out some 30,000 results to the university students that had their marks withheld as quickly as possible."
Students are still waiting for results. Marion Creser, 26, is studying for a Masters degree in human resource management. She said: "I just think that it is a totally unacceptable situation.
The university, which has campuses in The Burroughs, Hendon, and Trent Park, Oakwood, hopes to have released all university marks by March 16.
