Budding impressionists at a Radlett school impressed their parents and friends by showing off their art work in an exhibition last week.
In September Radlett Nursery and Infant School, in Cobden Hill, launched a new after-school art club for its older pupils to attend.
Last week the group, made up of 12 children aged six and seven, hosted its first exhibition, with a selection of paintings and drawings.
Teacher Sue Daniels, who takes the art group, said the children had recently been studying the impressionist artist Matisse. "I was really pleased with the work they did they tried really hard and thoroughly enjoyed themselves," she said.
Parents were invited to the exhibition on Monday evening last week, and other school pupils looked around it during the week.
