Joining a singing group isn't exclusively for the vocally talented, as Croydon Community Choir's members have proved.
Based at East Croydon United Reformed Church, this workshop encourages people to broaden their vocal skills.
Catherine Pestano, who runs the group, said: "It builds people's confidence. When your voice comes you can speak out about things such as views and rights."
She hopes to attract 100 people to the group which will form again later this month. Entry costs £1. For more information call Catherine on 020 8683 4737.
