Young actors won third place in the regional finals of a national competition with a play they created at school. The pupils (pictured) from Wilmington Hall School, in Dartford,all between 14 and 16, took part in the regional heats for the competition organised by the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation. The troupes 20 minute drama called Set Me Free dealt with the issues of family loyalty, friendship, bullying and learning difficulties. The group of 10 pupils took third place in the regional final of the National Drama Festival and £200 in prize money despite one of the leading performers being taken ill with chickenpox
