TWO Gravesend men, whose relatives died of cancer, are jumping 3,200 feet for charity.
Matthew Patterson, 31, of Chadwick Close, and Robert Cogger, 35, of Alexandra Road, are parachuting to raise money for the Lions Hospice, in Northfleet.
Mr Patterson decided to raise money for the hospice after it cared for his uncle Michael Patterson as he fought the disease. When friend Robert Cogger heard about the jump he decided to join in.
“My mother died of cancer in July last year. I'm doing this in memory of her,” said Mr Cogger.
The pair will make their single person square line jumps at Headcorn, in Maidstone, on September 16.
