Age Concern has offered to supply pensioners in Bromley with the equivalent of two hours free heating for every day the temperature falls below freezing this winter.
The Total Care package is available to pensioners, who have signed up as customers with PowerGen.
The energy company signed the deal with the Age Concern to help Britains freezing pensioners.
If the pensioners sign up, they also get a free carbon monoxide detector and early warning hypothermia thermometer, which the charity hopes will also save lives.
Their bills will also be printed in large format and Braille and an energy efficiency survey done for every customer who wants it.
Total Care was also available to pensioners last year, when there were 37 freezing days, saving some pensioners as much as £65 in a year.
Anybody who is interested in signing up to the deal, can call Age Concern Bromley on 020 8315 1878.
