VOLUNTEERS will be clearing pathways and surplus vegetation in the village Recreation Ground on the following Sunday mornings: December 9, January 13 and 27 and February 10 (not this Sunday as previously stated). Work begins at 10am. Tools and refreshments are provided. Help is required.
THE village bazaar got off to a brisk start last Saturday, with the tombola going great guns with lots of winners. All the stalls were busy, and the art exhibition, which was on at the same time was much appreciated.
HUGHENDEN Allotments and Gardens Association's AGM is this evening at the village hall at 8pm, followed by cheese and wine. There has been great interest in the visit to Amsterdam.
HUGHENDEN'S St Michael's Church Choir will be singing carols at the National Trust Shop at
Hughenden Manor on Sunday, December 16 at 3pm.
THERE are now new dispensary hours at Hughenden Valley Surgery. Repeat prescriptions cannot be ordered or collected on a Saturday. The new dispensing hours are, Monday to Friday 8am to 12.30pm, 1.30pm to 6.15pm and closed on Saturday.
