PASSENGERS will soon be benefitting from a collaboration between bus and rail operators in Hertfordshire, which will allow users to travel by bus and train on a single ticket.
The Intalink Partnership scheme, which is being launched on Thursday, October 11, has been introduced by bus and rail operators in the area, alongside Hertfordshire County Council, the local borough, and district councils.
It means that anyone who purchases a train ticket will then be able to pay an 'add-on' charge, so that the ticket can then be used freely on the local bus network.
