The installation of a new organ, at St Gertrude's Catholic Church, Purley Road, South Croydon, is being celebrated with an Organ Recital, at 8 pm on Saturday, October 6. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. There will be an interval with refreshments, and a retiring collection for the Croydon Refugee Day Centre. Michael Maine, organist at Hove Parish Church, will play music by Bach, Langlais, Liszt and others.
