Part Nine

Coelho muses on angels, as protectors and guides, who feature prominently in The Witch of Portobello, his latest novel.

While he feels the question of whether or not he believes in angels to be irrelevant, since this is simply specific to his own way of seeing the universe, Coelho says he does believe.

Personally, he thinks his angels speak to him through the agency of other people, and so he can never truly know when they are with him.
