Scotland’s top property firms are unveiled

The winners of The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2008, in association with Bank of Scotland Corporate, were unveiled last night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow.

An audience of 300 turned out to support the event, which was co-hosted by comedian Des Clarke and radio presenter Heather Suttie.

The event was sponsored by Bank of Scotland Corporate, Blairs Limited, Clyde Waterfront, EVM, King Sturge, s1 homes, Scotland's Homes, Sidey, Sound and Vision, Speirs Gumley, Turley Associates, and Villery and Boch at Scope Bathrooms.

The winners were:
Best Family Home: The Windsor, Crossmichael (Meridian Homes)
Best Apartment: Villa Apartments, Milngavie (Five Architecture)
Best Waterfront Development: gh2o, Glasgow Harbour (Dandara)
Best Conversion: Laidneskea, By Aberfeldy (Tighmor)

Best Onsite Presentation: gh2o, Glasgow Harbour (Dandara)
Best Show Home: The Berkeley, Manor Green - Duloch, (Manor Kingdom)
The Grand Prix Award: Kingennie Fields (Forbes of Kingennie)
