Police investigating the murder of 18-year-old Andrew Devlin are trying to trace a second car which could be linked to the attack.
Detectives said yesterday that a silver Renault Clio was seen driving away from a burning Peugeot that was seen leaving the scene of the shooting in Paisley.
Mr Devlin, 18, a TV installer, was shot at close range on August 3 as he left a 21st birthday party in Susi Q's Snooker Club in Stock Street to have a cigarette.
Bystanders tried to help Mr Devlin, of Dormanside Place, Pollok, Glasgow, but he died later in Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital.
A 26-year-old man seriously injured in the same incident remains in "critical" condition in hospital, police said.
The suspects are thought to have driven from the scene in a silver Peugeot 307.
Police have previously appealed for information about the Peugeot which was found partially burned out in the car park of Kirklandneuk Community Centre in Ness Road, Renfrew, just before 1am on August 5.
Now Strathclyde Police say they are keen to find a silver Renault Clio which was seen driving from Ness Road with four or five people on board just after the Peugeot, which had false number plates, was set on fire.
