A fire has broken out at the St Fergus gas terminal near Peterhead in Aberdeenshire, Grampian Fire and Rescue Service said today.
The emergency services have been called to the gas terminal, near Peterhead, after reports of an explosion.Fire, police and ambulance crews were called to the facility at about 2pm this afternoon.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said it was understood there had been an explosion in a laboratory.
A spokesman said three possible casualties had been examined but did not require treatment.
