Detectives investigating the shooting of a man outside a casino will question people at the scene tonight, a week on from the attack.
The 62-year-old suffered head injuries outside the Gala Maybury Casino, on Edinburgh's Maybury Road, at around 11.50pm last Tuesday.
He was treated in hospital and is now recovering at home.
A man wanted for questioning by detectives is described as white, aged 23 to 25 years old, of skinny build, and between 5ft 8in and 5ft 11in.
He was wearing a dark baseball cap and dark jacket and trousers.
The culprit ran off towards the junction at Turnhouse Road, followed by a number of people, but he quickly got out of sight.
Lothian and Borders Police officers will question members of the public around the venue tonight in a bid to uncover fresh leads in their investigation.
Detective Inspector Robert Deas, leading the investigation, said the public's response had so far been "fantastic" but the force still needed more information.
He said: "Tonight's activity will focus on trying to jog the memories of people who may have been in the area last Tuesday night.
"Anyone who has information that they think can help us, however unimportant it may seem, is encouraged to come forward."
