Extra cash for work training in Richmond will soon be available thanks to a Euro grant.
Richmond upon Thames college has been awarded £681,588 from the European Social Fund after a successful bid put together with help from the Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
The college hopes firms in the borough and surrounding areas will benefit.
Training will centre on improving information technology skills and is likely to utilise technology which allows access from home or work.
It may be possible to borrow PCs or laptops with teaching software installed.
