Maximum points from their first two games leaves Kingstonian proudly atop the Conference League in their debut season.
David Leworthy bagged Ks' first, historic, goal against Hereford on Saturday, with Joe Francis making it two before the biggest crowd of the day, 2,104.
And when Geoff Chapple tested his Conference newcomers away at Yeovil on Tuesday night, he was delighted to see them put three past the side run by former Ks man Colin Lippiatt.
Goals from Colin Luckett, Simon Stewart and Eddie Akuamoah sealed a 3-1 win.
Both games have seen Kingstonian perform well first half, and ride the storm in the second period.
That's something Chapple can ill afford. He knows Ks have a tendency to go to sleep, and at this level they will be severely punished.
On the other hand this looks a strong defensive outfit, capable of withstanding much pressure.
New signings Simon Stewart and Mark Harris look competent and determined at the back, and after the Hereford win Chapple declared: "We coped with everything they threw at us." Just as well, really, as former Spurs and Norwich star Ian Culverhouse left Kingsmeadow after Saturday's match to join Brighton and Hove Albion.
"I wish the lad well, but I couldn't offer him anything as concrete as Brighton could," said Chapple.
The perils of starting a Conference campaign with just one keeper were also highlighted when Jerome John's knee "swelled up like a balloon" after the Hereford game.
Pre-season trialists failed to sign, or make the grade, and Chapple did not have much time before the Yeovil clash.
In the end he had to make a quick call to old mate Roy McFarlane at Cambridge United and signed, very late on Monday, Scott Barrett on a one-month loan.
Ks leave for Morcambe at 1.30pm today so the side can get some rest, and possibly a morning workout, before the clash. They were also training yesterday as Chapple seeks to keep the bandwagon rolling.
