WHILE Jana Novotna was rejoicing at Wimbledon, members of Bromley High School junior tennis team had their own reason to celebrate.
The girls became Kent champions in the U11 Midland Bank Tennis Championships, beating Keston in the final. The team also showed its prowess at short tennis, taking the U9 Midland Bank title against Russell House School from Otford and going on to win the U10 Kent Schools tournament. There they defeated Hilden Oaks, Tunbridge, in the final match.
