Arsene Wenger, the manager of league and cup winners Arsenal, will officially open Wood's new main stand before tomorrow's prestige friendly against the Gunners (7.30pm kick-off).

The match against the Highbury outfit is the curtain raiser to Wood's celebrations for their 50th anniversary.

And Arsenal have promised to send their "strongest available" team for the encounter.

Acrobatic diving will go unpunished by the referee during the game. Members of the Hawksmoor Centre Gymnastics Club will be performing a spectacular tumbling display during the interval.

A carnival atmosphere is guaranteed for the match.

Wood have secured the services of a warm-up man to gee up the crowd before the action takes place.

And Ronald McDonald will be making a special visit to the club to give away a number of freebies to the crowd.

Tickets for the match WILL be available on the night.

Wood's chairman Phil Wallace said: "We are expecting a capacity crowd for this match and I would urge supporters to arrive at the club as early as possible."

Gates open at 6.15pm.
