REBEL Euro MP Hugh Kerr has slammed the Prime Minister's foreign policy and his treatment of the European social agenda.
The Hertfordshire East and Essex West MEP attacked Tony Blair for "slavishly following the US in foreign policy" and for weakening the protection of employees in Europe by "blocking" anti-poverty programmes and working-time legislation.
He was speaking after the Prime Minister told the European Parliament in Strasbourg last week, that the British presidency of the European Union during the last six months, had been a success.~
