Surrey and England star Ben Hollioake was busy making dreams come true for some of the borough's top cricketing talent last week.

Ben was on hand to present the cream of Surrey's young cricketing hopefuls with their player of the course awards for the Nescafé Surrey youth cricket coaching course. Ben, one of several former graduates of the scheme in the current Surrey side, handed over prized signed bats before Surrey's match with Worcestershire.

And he hoped the likes of Tamrez Ul Amin, 12, from Croydon, and James Theobald, 14, from Purley would be able to follow in the footsteps of heroes England skipper Alec Stewart and batsman Graham Thorpe.

He said: "It's great that Nescafé supports cricketers from grass roots to county level, preparing them for the top flight. You only have to look at the number of county players who are past graduates to see the courses have proven an excellent barometer to measure and highlight England's future stars."
