Police bag loose snake

Police were called to Mays Road, Hampton, at 11.30pm on Saturday to deal with a snake.

The orange and black striped snake was hissing at passers-by.

Two policemen managed to get it into a black sack before calling the RSPCA to collect it.

Police believe the non poisonous snake is an escaped pet and appealed for the owner to call the RSPCA.
