BLACKHEATH'S first XI enjoyed a very profitable trip to Sitting-bourne to play Gore Court on Saturday in the Woolwich Kent Premier League. The visitors, inspired by a 4-27 spell from Higginson, bowled out the home team for 118. When Blackheath batted, they reached their target with the loss of only five wickets.
Bickley retained their one point lead at the top of the table when thrashing Bromley by eight wickets thanks to an unbroken third wicket partnership between Ramanathan, on 69, and Ramsay, with 61.
