Conference on housing
A major housing conference organised by Croydon Council is being staged at Croydon Clocktower tomorrow (Thursday). Housing At The Heart Of Social Policy runs from 9am to 1.15pm and anyone interested in attending should call 0181 686 4433, extension 2741.
Folk and Blues
The eighth annual Folk and Blues Festival takes place on Sunday, June 21, at Ruskin House, Coombe Road, Croydon from noon. All the usual family attractions will be on offer including barbecue, face painting and bouncy castle, with admission £3 (children free).

Talk on HRT
A talk on the pros and cons of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) will be given at Foxley Lane surgery in Purley on Monday (June 15) at 7.45pm.
The talk is one of the events organised by the Woodcote Practice Patients Group to mark the 50th anniversary of the NHS.
