SHOPPERS have been flocking to buy World Cup memorabilia from Harlows sports shops.

England hats, scarves, flags, mugs, and keyrings are all popular.

Dave Drane, owner of The Football Shop in Market Square, said sales of England shirts had been booming, and he added: The 1966 replica shirt, marking the year England last won the World Cup, is also popular .

He said children had been persuading their parents to buy them full England kits and many shoppers had also snapped up flags bearing the St Georges cross.
