Epsom and Ewell Harriers' Boys took second place in their Ebbisham League match at Woking last Sunday. Chris Bailey's personal best of 1.82m in the high jump and Robert Mangham's club record of 7.14m in the U13s shot helped Epsom finish hard on the heels of Croydon. Chris Mortimer won the U15s 800m in 2mins 23 secs.

GOING FOR GOLD.
Epsom Downs' Tim Sinclair is going for gold in next weekend's Surrey Schools Championship. The 14-year-old Sutton Grammar School student hopes to pick up the 80m hurdles title and qualify for the English Schools Championships this summer. The lad from Tattenham Grove took gold in the South of England Championships two weeks ago.
