Harrow Town found themselves suffering from Piles as they went down by seven wickets in the opening Middlesex Championship encounter of the season against Old Actonians on Saturday.
Actonians' bowler Chris Pile took 5-61 as Town could only total 159. Vishal Vakani (33) and Graham Budd (32) were their top scorers.
The west London side found no difficulty in reaching their target. D Dhami (66 no) and S Brown (59) were their top run-getters as they scorched to 160-3, winning by seven wickets.
Town travel to Alexandra Park in the league on Saturday.
