In the big local derby of the day between Blackheath and Old Colfeians, at the Rectory Field, Club came out on top, winning 36-14.
With a very strong wind behind them Club started strongly, scoring two tries, through Harvey Biljon and Dave Glendinning, in the first eight minutes.
It was clear that Club are very strong finishers from tight opportunities and the Colfes' game tightened up in response.
Indeed, for a 15-minute spell, Colfes attacked strongly and the cries of come on Club' quietened.
Although coming close several times, Colfes were unable to score and, in the 38th minute, Club scored a breakaway try by Charlie Abban.
The second half continued as a bruising encounter with Club scoring two further tries by Chris Trace and Dave Fitzgerald, Chris Trace kicking all Club's goals to make it 36-0.
Colfes, however, kept trying and were rewarded with an interception try from his own half by Dave Lewis on 72 minutes and a forward drive try by Adam Hodkissnear the final whistle, with both converted by AI Kennedy.
On Saturday, Colfes entertain North Walsharn, kick off at Horn Park is 3pm.
