THE magic and romance of the greatest operas ever written will be performed by Opera d'amore on Saturday, March 9.
This group of young, professional singers will bring opera to life with their semi-staged show at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, in Maidenhead.
The group will be performing arias, duets and ensembles from classic favourites including Mozart's Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni, Bizet's Carmen, Verdi's La Traviata, Rossini's The Barber of Seville and Gounod's Faust.
Opera d'amore is made up of Joanne Appleby (soprano), Victoria Simmonds (mezzo-soprano), Andrew Rees (tenor), Nicholas Warden (bass) and pianist Anna Tillbrook.
Since the group was formed three years ago, the quintet has won critical acclaim individually and together, with it's members having performed at Glyndebourne and with the English National Opera.
The concert is on Saturday at 7.30pm, tickets on 01628 788997
