YOUNG artists from Gravesham voted with their feet when they visited the Houses of Parliament last week.
After a tour of the Commons and Lords, six primary schoolchildren who entered a festive competition, trooped through the voting lobbies used by MPs during debates.
Gravesham MP Chris Pond presented the winner and runners-up of his Christmas Card design competition with certificates and House of Commons teddy bears.
After taking tea and fizzy pop with the children and their families, Mr Pond said: "It was a pleasure to meet these talented youngsters who beat 600 other entrants."
