FURNITURE designer Rose Cobb will be taking her innovative designs for people on the move to a prestigious exhibition in Milan.

Rose, graduated with an MA in Furniture, Design and Technology at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College in High Wycombe and is set to take the furniture exhibition by storm.

The 26-year-old, of St Kilda Road, West Ealing, won the chance to take her pieces to the Milan Furniture Fair, Europe's biggest furniture exhibition after her innovative designs focused on furniture that makes moving house easier.

She said: "Having moved house nine times in London I realised that people don't like buying furniture because it can be so troublesome to move."

Rose is pictured here with her clever book storage unit on wheels and a 'modular' chest of drawers that breaks down into separate suitcases.
