London Colney Colts U16s continued their good league form at the weekend, beating Chorleywood 3-0.

The U16s have not lost a game since the first match of the season, and are moving near the top of the table.

A brace from Michael Cattermole and another goal from Jamie Gregory settled the match.

Good defensive work from the back four of Matthew Kennedy, captain Tyrone Phipps, Karl Ward and Darren O'Toole enabled Colney to keep another clean sheet.

The U11s Blues also maintained their winning ways in the Spring Cup with a 3-1 victory over Gadeside Rangers.

Despite going a goal down in the second half, the Blues kept going on a heavy pitch and were worthy winners with goals from George Wallace, Jack Greaney and Daniel Neville. Ryan Patek was once again outstanding in goal and Sahib Phull received the man of the match award.

The U10s Ambers battled with the wind and a heavy pitch pushing close for a winner on two occasions in the second round of the Challenge Cup, but they could not come back from an unfortunate decision which saw Evergreen score after the ball appeared to have been kicked out of keeper Sam Mardle's hands.

The Ambers were back in action the following day in a league game which ended in a 1-1 draw with Borehamwood 2000. Ross Wiltshire got on the scoresheet, and Daniel Broom earned man of the match after a strong all-round performance.

Colney's U9s moved into the next round of the Challenge Cup with another commanding win, this time over Edson Youth.

They kept yet another clean sheet thanks to Jack Wallace, Piaras Lysaght, Daniel Westmore, Kevin Cahill and Alex Cobb. Goals came from Joe Easter, Joe Cahill and William Knibbs.

After a testing start to the season, the U8s' unbeaten run now extends to three matches, as they battled their way to a goalless draw with Palace North.
