SOFTCAT plc has been appointed as one of only 20 large account resellers (LAR) for Microsoft in the UK.
The company in Lincoln Road, High Wycombe, will look after the licensing needs of the Small Medium Business (SMB) marketplace.
Edward Hyde, Microsoft channel sales manager said: "Softcat presented a strong business case based on their ability to provide licensing solutions to SMB customers and we look forward to working with them."
Dave Simpson, Softcat's sales and marketing director, said: "Becoming a LAR for Microsoft is a great way to start the new year and follows a very successful 2001, which saw Softcat plc's sales figures increase by 82 per cent over the 12-month period."
