HAS Prestwood grown large enough to warrant its own parish council?

Would you want to be divided off from Great Missenden in this way and could Prestwood provide enough new people volunteering as councillors? These are questions currently being raised by The Prestwood Society and they would like as many views as possible on this key area. An excellent way to put your views across and be in at the front of local debates as well as enjoy some great social events is to join the Society. Subscription remains at £1.50 per year and you can obtain full details about this pioneering local society from Keith Davies, Chairman, The Prestwood Society, Peppers House, Prestwood HP16 OHN. Whether you join or not, please send him your views on a parish council for Prestwood so they can gauge village opinion on this important matter.

BLOOD Donor sessions are taking place at Prestwood Village Hall next Tuesday from 2pm to 3.55pm and again at 5pm until 6.45pm. Please call by if you can.

JANUARY to June's new look edition of Leisure Times has just come out and is full of details about all sorts of Prestwood based leisure activities that take place in the village hall. For example, on Mondays invigorated from your Yoga session between 12.15pm until 1.45pm, you can come back in the evening and enjoy Old Time Dancing from 8pm until 10.45pm. Call by the village hall for details.
