An evening of live music will be staged on Saturday night to raise money to support the family of a Borehamwood woman who suffered brain damage.
Angie Marshall, of Glenhaven Avenue, was left with brain damage after a heart attack three years ago, and is now a patient at the Royal Neurological Hospital.
Angie has a young child, and Hertsmere Acoustic Music Club, which was formerly Borehamwood Folk Club, has decided to collect cash for the family.
There will be no admission charge for An Evening for Angie, at the Hawksmoor Centre at 8pm, although guests will be expected to make a donation.
Organiser Nick Male said: "We hope Angie's friends from St Teresa's Church, the Civic Offices, the light operatic society and the folk club will all want to be there."
Musicians and singers, of all styles, are invited to go along and perform at the informal event. Children will be welcome.
