A new tea room opened last week in the pavilion at Shenley Park as part of a plan to encourage more people to visit the historic site.
Shenley Park Trust launched the tea room on Saturday, and it will be open between 9am and 6pm every day, during the summer months. The trust has also applied for funding for a new footpath through the 45-acre park. It hopes to receive money from the Countryside Agency and the borough council for the path, which will link the park to new housing.
